Project Overview

Expanding global reach through accessible digital

Diamedica is a global leader in safe, affordable anaesthetic equipment, supporting healthcare delivery in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

Operating across more than 80 countries, their mission is clear. Make life-saving equipment accessible where it is needed most. Their website needed to support that mission.

The existing platform limited international reach, created friction in the quoting process, and did not reflect the realities of low-bandwidth environments.

We partnered with Diamedica to deliver a digital transformation focused on accessibility, performance, and scalable growth.

The result: a 50.8% increase in enquiries within three months.

Website Performance

The Challenge

Global ambition, local constraints

Diamedica operates in a uniquely demanding context. Their users include clinicians, NGOs, and procurement teams working in low and middle income countries, often with unreliable internet access.

The platform needed to perform in conditions where speed, data usage, and accessibility are critical. At the same time, it had to support international growth, multiple languages, and complex quoting processes.

The challenge was to design a website that works everywhere, for everyone.

The Solution

Built for accessibility and performance

We designed and built a platform that prioritises clarity, usability, and efficiency at every level.

The experience is structured to help users quickly find products, understand their value, and take action, regardless of location or connection quality. Every interaction was shaped around real-world usage, ensuring the platform supports both urgent needs and longer procurement journeys.

The result is a website that not only communicates Diamedica’s mission, but actively enables it.

International

Designed for global audiences

With users across more than 80 countries, multilingual accessibility was essential.

We implemented a flexible multilingual architecture with intuitive language switching, making it easier for partners and clinicians to access information in their preferred language. French was prioritised based on stakeholder insight, helping strengthen engagement in key regions.

Accessibility was embedded throughout the build, contributing to a perfect accessibility score at launch and ensuring the platform can be used by as many people as possible.

Performance

Built to work in low-bandwidth environments

Many of Diamedica’s users rely on limited or unstable internet connections. The website needed to perform reliably in these conditions.

We developed a lightweight, low-bandwidth platform optimised for 3G networks, ensuring fast load times without compromising usability. Lean code, efficient asset delivery, and streamlined content structures all contribute to a faster, more reliable experience.

The result is a site that performs consistently, regardless of location or connection quality.

CMS Migration

A flexible platform for long-term growth

We migrated Diamedica from a legacy CMS to Statamic, providing a more secure, efficient, and adaptable foundation.

Statamic’s flat-file architecture improves performance and reduces reliance on heavy infrastructure, while its flexible content management system allows the team to update and evolve the site with ease.

This gives Diamedica full control over their platform, enabling them to respond quickly to changing needs and opportunities.

Partnership

Supporting impact beyond launch

Our work with Diamedica was built on a shared goal: making critical healthcare information and equipment more accessible worldwide.

The platform is designed to support ongoing growth, allowing the team to expand into new markets, introduce additional languages, and continue improving performance over time.

For an organisation operating in low-resource settings, the website is more than a marketing tool. It is a vital part of how they communicate, connect, and deliver impact.
